French château-inspired and designed for groups to stay together, The Lake Château pairs collected, expressive interiors with an exceptional waterfront setting. Outside, guests have a private pool with loungers, an oversized hot tub, covered veranda, private dock and boat slip, kayaks, waterfront grilling and dining, and a lakeside fire pit.
Inside, four distinctive bedrooms sleep up to 18 guests, including the West Palm Bunk Room, a communal sleeping space designed for up to 12.
The Lake Château is part of the Modern Nomads collection and can also be reserved as part of La Maison du Lac, a collection of four neighboring lakefront stays accommodating up to 54 guests. On its own, The Lake Château is a destination for lake days, long meals, pool afternoons, evenings around the fire, and the simple pleasure of having everyone together in one memorable place.

Living & Design
The Lake Château is layered the way a well-traveled home should be, with intention, character, and the confidence that comes from choosing every piece carefully rather than decorating quickly.
The main living area centers around a stone fireplace framed by tropical wallpaper and layered textiles. It feels warm, grounded, and visually rich, inviting guests to settle in and stay awhile. The transition between indoors and out blurs naturally, exactly as a lakefront property should. Wallpapered stair risers, the kind of detail many guests notice only on a second pass, signal that the Château was finished with intention from top to bottom.
The dining room seats the entire group beneath a statement chandelier, with a long table made for meals that stretch well beyond the last course. The kitchen and dining areas share one open space, anchored by natural wood cabinetry, counter seating, double coffee makers, and a full-size refrigerator.
Even the powder bath, with bold wallpaper and a bidet, is memorable. In the primary bathroom, a marble vanity, gold fixtures, and an arched mirror carry the same European-inspired design language found throughout the home.

The Kensington Primary Suite
The one-of-a-kind vintage round king anchors a primary suite designed to feel like a destination of its own. A comfortable sitting area, curated lighting, expressive patterns, and layered bedding create a distinctive private retreat for two.
The Peacock Paradise Bedroom
A queen bed anchors a private bedroom that reveals its personality immediately. Tropical patterns, expressive color, and layered details carry The Lake Château’s collected design language into a vibrant retreat for two.
The Majesty Suite
A double bed and twin-over-twin bunk bed make this one of the Château’s most flexible private bedrooms. Sleeping up to four, it works especially well for a small family, parents with children, or guests who want to share a room while still having separate beds.
The West Palm Bunk Room
The room that changes the math for large groups entirely. Two king beds, four twin beds, three trundles, and a sleeper sofa share one expansive communal suite with its own living area, complete with a sofa, table and chairs, a 72-inch TV, and direct access to the backyard and pool.
The West Palm also has its own full bathroom, which doubles as a convenient pool bath thanks to a separate exterior door to the backyard. Designed for groups who value togetherness over separate bedrooms, the West Palm sleeps up to 12 guests while still giving everyone room to settle in, connect, and enjoy the stay.
Between the home and the lake, The Lake Château creates an outdoor flow that groups move through all day and rarely want to leave.
The private pool with sun loungers creates a dedicated daytime retreat, with the Social Club pool wall mural giving it a personality all its own. Above it, the covered veranda becomes the center of the outdoor experience. An oversized hot tub sits elevated over the water alongside lounge seating and dining areas, all with an unobstructed view across Lake Granbury.
