“THIS PLACE IS EVERYTHING! … so many amenities that make you want to stay home all day.” Haley, Airbnb
Fort Worth, Texas · 5 Bedrooms · Private Pool
The Preppy is a five-bedroom, two-bath Fort Worth vacation rental for up to 12 guests, built around a private backyard resort with a sport pool, hot tub, barrel sauna, Pink Pool House and Snack Shack Lounge. It gives groups a place where staying in can be as much a part of the trip as exploring Fort Worth.
Created for travelers who appreciate layered interiors, bold color and spaces with personality, The Preppy blends polished design, Fort Worth character and the playful spirit of Life of the Modern Nomads.
Designed by Jenna LeBlanc, founder of Winton & Waits (@wintonandwaits), the interiors feature expressive color, bold wallpaper, original art and richly layered textiles. Each room has its own identity, from the Otomi Suite and Beauty Bar to the colorful Preppy Kitchen. The result feels personal rather than staged, with spaces designed for slow mornings, shared meals and evenings that stretch a little longer than planned.
The backyard is the main event. A private sport pool, heated hot tub, barrel sauna, Snack Shack Lounge with a 72-inch pivot TV, and climate-controlled Pink Pool House create a setting for long afternoons and easy evenings together. The Pink Pool House is especially well suited to mahjong weekends, with tables and comfortable seating ready for play.
Groups can also gather around the Fire Pit, share dinner outdoors, play basketball or relax beneath the mature live oaks on the string-lit turf lawn. With multiple places to swim, play, dine and unwind, everyone can spend time together without feeling crowded.
Located in Westworth Village near Fort Worth, The Preppy offers convenient access to the Fort Worth Stockyards, Dickies Arena, TCU, Will Rogers Memorial Center, the Cultural District and downtown Fort Worth.

Living & Design
The Preppy doesn’t whisper. It welcomes with bold color, layered pattern and rooms designed for guests who appreciate personality over predictability. Created by Jenna LeBlanc, founder of Winton & Waits (@wintonandwaits), the interiors are expressive without feeling chaotic, polished without feeling untouchable.
This is a home for people who notice the details: the gallery wall that rewards a second look, the unexpected mix of textiles, the wallpaper that gives each bedroom its own character and lighting chosen to make the spaces feel as good as they look.
The shared spaces make it easy to move between conversation, comfort and celebration. Gather around the waterfall quartz island in the Preppy Kitchen, get ready together at the Beauty Bar or settle into the living spaces for a slower evening. The result feels less like a standard vacation rental and more like a boutique hotel reserved entirely for your group.
The pink Beauty Bar is more than a detail. It is a destination. Designed for getting ready together, taking photos and starting the celebration before heading out, it sets the tone for the stay from the moment your group gathers there.
The Preppy Kitchen is compact, polished and full of personality. A quartz-topped peninsula with barstool seating anchors one side of the room, while an antique butcher-block island sourced from Round Top brings warmth and character to the center. Floating shelves, under-cabinet lighting and statement fixtures over the peninsula give the space the layered, collected feel that runs throughout The Preppy.
KitchenAid appliances and a dual coffee station with two coffee makers keep the practical side covered, whether the group is making breakfast, setting out snacks or getting dinner started. The open layout keeps everyone connected, with room to gather at the peninsula while someone else works at the island.
It is a kitchen designed to function well and look like part of the experience, not just a place to prepare food.
The Preppy’s five individually designed bedrooms give groups more than a place to sleep. The Otomi Suite features a king bed. The Berry Room and Vintage Room each include a king, twin and trundle. The Trellis Room offers a queen, while the Polo Room combines a double, twin and trundle.
Altogether, The Preppy offers 11 beds and sleeping space for up to 12 guests, making it especially well suited for families, girls’ trips and groups who want real flexibility without sacrificing style. Bold wallpaper, layered textiles and distinct design details give each room its own identity while keeping the house cohesive.
The design has also earned some unexpected local attention. The Preppy was selected as the setting for a West Fort Worth Lifestyle Magazine photo shoot and went on to appear on the front cover, along with a 10-page editorial feature inside the issue. One of the cover images was photographed inside the home, with the styling echoing the room’s distinctive pattern and color.
The backyard at The Preppy is not an afterthought. It is the main event.
The private sport pool anchors the experience, with room for sun-soaked afternoons, pool games and evening swims beneath the mature live oaks. When it is time to slow down, move between the hot tub and Barrel Sauna or claim a lounger on the Sun Deck. Together, they create the kind of private backyard resort experience that sets The Preppy apart from a typical Fort Worth vacation rental.
The Snack Shack Lounge becomes a natural gathering place as the day moves into evening. Its bar, service window, refrigerator, games and 72-inch pivot TV make it easy to serve snacks, catch a game and stay connected to everything happening around the pool. Bring the food and drinks your group loves. The setup does the rest.
Nearby, the climate-controlled Pink Pool House offers a comfortable retreat from the Texas heat, with tables and seating for games, conversation or a slower afternoon away from the pool. It has become an especially fun setting for mahjong weekends, although guests should bring their own mahjong sets and supplies.
There is more than one way to spend a day outside. Play basketball, cook in the Grill Yard, gather around the outdoor dining areas, stretch out in the hammock or settle around the Fire Pit beneath the string lights. Multiple places to dine, lounge and gather let everyone spread out without losing the feeling of being together.
The Preppy was designed around one guiding idea: the property should be part of the trip. Nowhere is that felt more completely than in the backyard.
